"No sleep”
"First, the positive: The location is a short walk from a metro station, and the staff is really very helpful. I wish they could work in a better hotel. Now the negative: The rooms are very small and feel oppressive. The mattresses are very old and sag a great deal. The biggest problem is the noise. The rooms are above a bar and club, so you can hear and feel the music through the floor until midnight. Even after they close, you still hear the music from next door past 1am. I assure you that you will not get any sleep at this hotel. Just look somewhere else. This hotel is not worth considering."

"Good location in the centre of the city, but the room was really small, staff were sometimes hard to find but when you did they were very friendly, the food in the restaurant was good. There was a hole in the roof in my room. Overall not bad though. "

"This is my second stay. The place is super aesthetic. Comfy beds and the shower is the best! Not for the light sleeper tho. You can hear the thumping sound from the bar below but they do give you earplugs. The reception should improve tho. Called a couple times to inform details but never answered. They do have storage for your bags once check out, easy for you and your bestie to roam the city. All and all good stay! "

"We arrived and given our room 218, overlooked the bar & a bit noisy. The room was OK, however the shower curtain only went ¾ of the way down, not to the floor, so water in the washbasin area, Hot water took time to get there, so wastage of water, Bed was comfy. However the painting down the stairs is starting to deteriorate & not much maintenance on the inside appearance of the hotel, would I stay here again, maybe yes, maybe no, plenty of other hotels now in the area to choose from. I would shop around first. Thanks"

"I chose this hotel because I know my girlfriend would love the vibe of the hotel. The location was great. There's an amazing bar downstairs. The vintage feel of it is quite interesting. However, this hotel is not ideal for long stays or if you have big bags. The elevator is literally vintage but working. You can hear the noise from the bar but it's not really a negative thing for us particularly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here even if it was only for one night while waiting for our flight the next day."

"Totally it is no good in terms of comfort, staff, environment that I actually checked some reviews about this hotel and wanted to try it, unfortunately I was disappointed as I can not see the staff at Reception when I check in, have to ask some waiter or waitress to call them. The hotel is combined with Bar together and I am not sure what it is? The hotel is very old and looks strange. The room is not clean and it is also very dark. The bathroom’s shower is open without any curtain. I was quite scared and don’t stay alone. Trust me and you can try if you don’t believe. "

"My husband and I stayed for a night last week. The location is great, the food at the restaurant was lovely. It was ok for a night but the room smelled of smoke, it was pretty loud and the bathroom was in need of a bit of love. Reception Staff didn’t answer the phone and were not to be seen at check out which doesn’t make one feel very cared for. It felt quite expensive for what we got."

"Hotel Harry is in an excellent location within walking distance to restaurants, public transport, pubs and clubs. It has unique character rooms with all the basics and then some covered. The room was clean and comfortable, we even got complimentary drinks at the pub downstairs."
"Hotel Operation needs to be improved”
"1. Obviously, there is no check list for housekeeping department. They didn't refill the coffee creamer and drinks inside the refrigerator. And didn't refill the espresso capsule and tea bags in box daily. In general, there is always something missing after the housekeeping.
2. I was sitting on the 1st floor lounge for nearly 1 hour waiting for the room to be ready around noon time. There was zero waiter or staff came to ask me what I would like to have. (I want to test and see when will they eventually approach me. Unfortunately, they never did.)
3. Obviously, there is no SOP for the check-out. The staff didn't offer the receipt for guest to check and sign automatically. I have to make a request.
4. The corridor and the staircase is quite smelly (due to the carpet I assume).
5. The hotel location and the room decoration are quite good though. It could be a good option when the room rate is AUS 199-210. You might want to re-consider if the price is up to 259-269."
"Extremely misleading pictures of room: Paid extra for a superior room, still got standard room.”
"We stayed one night at this hotel and paid extra for a superior room. When we arrived we were out in a room that was identical to the photos of the standard room. When we spoke to the staff about it they said they had no control over it and that it was Agoda’s fault for having misleading pictures."

"The shower leaked and soaked the bathroom floor constantly which then ran into the carpet, the rooms were not very clean, the tv didn’t work for half of our stay, the plus side… staff was super friendly, the location is good and they have restaurant and bar onsite "

"It is a hotel with a pub below. Reception is run by bartender/waiter in the night. Old ancient lift which can take 1 person with 1 pc of luggage only – with door and gate. No lock in the room – just a latch. No sense of security at all. Bathroom sink is very small and water spilled over. No proper shower stall. Will NOT return. "
